"After spending a few weeks online I had decided on what Vespa I finally wanted, now it was just a matter of finding it. One weekend my GF and I packed up the car and headed down to Santa Cruz for the day, figuring it would probably be a better place to shop than a location in the city up here. I was totally right, after arriving I was greeted by Gabe, who helped me pick out my scooter. After some talking about different models, and showing me what they had in inventory I confirmed that I had picked the perfect bike. The scooter I chose was not the top of the line, nor was it even a 2007 or 2008, but even after deciding on a not top of the line and not the newest scooter on the lot, Gabe still treated us with great courtesy. At no point in time was I ever pressured to buy, talk finances, or pushed to a more expensive model. During our hour plus at the dealership Gabe humored me by showing off the MP3 and other cool scooters they had; showed not tried to sell; even offered to let me take a few higher models for a spin just for kicks, I passed but maybe another day! It makes all the difference in the world when the people who work at the dealership are more excited and knowledgeable about the products than making a sale. I placed a deposit on the scooter I was looking at, which would be refunded if after 7 days of sleeping on it, I decided I didn't want it; well that did not happen. On top of the great sales experience the financing was top notch too. Jim took care of everything, he even delivered the bike to me all the way up in Mountain View for a very very very small fee, and brought all the paper work along so I would not have to trek over the hill again. I also have to thank all the people behind the scenes that gave her a good tune up prior to me taking delivery. I joke with my GF that I wish they also sold cars so I would know where to go for my next vehicle. I can not stress enough how amazing of a dealership this is. Thank you guys!"

"My wife and I are shopping for a scooter/Vespa and decided to see what was available in the Santa Cruz area. We were impressed by the store, the inventory, the knowledgeable and friendly people in the store and shop. No attitudes, engaging, and clearly enjoying being there as much as we were. Offered us a test drive, set up a couple scoots and no pressure, just good vibes all the way through.

"I have 2 Vespa's now and love them so much that my poor car has cobwebs and the start of lichens (it has to sit in the driveway - my precious scoots get the garage). Il Motorino has been very good to me and I am so glad that they are here and I don't have to trailer my scoots over the hill for support. They helped us start a club in town and now we have fun, great rides at least once a month with a group of great people, some of whom have many years of experience, stories, and helpful advice. I think everyone in CA should have a scoot for errands, short commutes, and for any time 1 person needs to get from here to there - save the big SUVs for family outings. I am actually thinking about a 3rd one (each 1 I have has a different use - 1 with a big basket for shopping/errands; a sporty one for fun rides; maybe a bigger one for long trips?)."
